A&A Gas Service and COVID-19: What precautions are we taking to protect our customers?

Following the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak across the country, A&A Gas Service are taking all the necessary precautions to help manage the risk of infection for us and for all of our customers.

Obviously, we are taking the outbreak very seriously, whilst always maintaining the professional, calm and practical approach that our customers have come to expect. Our number one priority is always the safety and wellbeing of our customers, team members and the wider community.

If your boiler or central heating system develops a problem then call us and we will help you!

We will attempt to diagnose the fault over the phone and, if it is an easy fix, we’ll instruct you on what you need to do to get it working again. If we need to visit then, you can appreciate, we must do a risk assessment before attending.

Should you, or a member of your household, be self-isolating as you are suffering from Coronavirus (COVID-19), then by law we would be unable to attend, except in exceptional circumstances.

If you are simply staying at home as per the Government’s instructions, and everyone in your household is healthy, we will come in, ask you to leave the kitchen and sanitise the area we are working in beforehand.

We are using disposable gloves at all times right now so we can be sure both you and our engineer remains healthy and expect to see gratuitous use of hand sanitiser and sterile wipes! We think you’ll agree these are sensible measures.

As you would expect from A&A Gas Service, our team’s response has been outstanding, and we recognise that everyone’s efforts will be focussed on those with the greatest need at this challenging time.
