Obviously, we are taking the Coronavirus outbreak very seriously, whilst always maintaining the professional, calm and practical approach that our customers have come to expect.
Our number one priority is always the safety and wellbeing of our customers, team members and the wider community!
So we’re not doing any installations at the moment, and boiler certifications will have to wait until lockdown ends. But what we are doing is responding to any emergencies that our customers have. When you get in touch, we will attempt to diagnose the fault over the phone and, if it is an easy fix, we’ll instruct you on what you need to do to get it working again.
If we need to visit then, you can appreciate, we must do a risk assessment before attending!
Should you, or a member of your household, be self-isolating as you are suffering from Coronavirus (COVID-19), then by law we would be unable to attend, except in exceptional circumstances, for example, a gas leak in your boiler.
If you are simply staying at home as per the Government’s instructions, and everyone in your household is healthy, we will come in, ask you to leave the kitchen and sanitise the area we are working in beforehand.
We are using disposable gloves at all times right now so we can be sure both you and our engineer remains healthy and expect to see gratuitous use of hand sanitiser and sterile wipes! We think you’ll agree these are sensible measures.
So don’t worry if you have a boiler or heating system emergency, we are here to help you as much as we can. You don’t have to be cold and you certainly don’t have to be without hot water. A&A Gas Service will get it sorted for you.
